who we are

Our church exists for the sole purpose of giving honor and glory to Jesus in every thing that we do. We are passionate about sharing the good news of redemption that comes through meeting Christ, the revival that comes from a unified church and the restoration that comes through walking in the spirit.

OUR STORY

Lamb’s Fellowship Lake Elsinore began in a living room with 30 people on January 5, 1997, as an extension of Lamb’s Fellowship Murrieta under Pastor Gary Ennis. Within two months, the growing church moved to Temescal Canyon High School.

In a remarkable series of events, the church acquired its current property on Railroad Canyon Road. Though the nearly completed building was destroyed by fire in 2003, today The Lambs Church stands, restored by God.

Today, Pastors Paul and Jessica Zittel lead the church, having followed God’s call from New York to Seattle and now to Lake Elsinore. Lamb’s Fellowship exists to redeem, revive, and restore the Church to its original, God-given design.

MISSION & BELIEFS

WE SEEK TO HOLD BIBLICAL TRUTHS AS THE FOUNDATION OF OUR DOCTRINE, AND THEREFORE, HONOR FOUR MAIN SOURCES OF THEOLOGY (ALSO CALLED THE WESLEYAN QUADRILATERAL).

SCRIPTURE | TRADITION | REASON | EXPERIENCE

FOR A DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE FREE METHODIST DOCTRINE; VISIT OUR DENOMINATIONS WEBSITE BELOW.

  • In one God, who is eternal, all-powerful and absolutely Holy, who has revealed Himself to man as existing in three distinguishable expressions of His essential being: the Father, the Son – Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit.

    THE FATHER - God is the creator of all things, the beginning and the end.
    THE SON - God was Himself in Jesus Christ to reconcile people to God.
    THE HOLY SPIRIT - God is the Holy Spirit in deity. He is the effective agent of Jesus Spirit, working in the world today.

    Matthew 28:19

    2 Corinthians 13:14

    John 14:15-17

  • In the Lord Jesus Christ, the Savior of humankind, conceived of the Holy Spirit, born of the virgin Mary, fully God and fully man. Christ died for our sins, was buried and rose again on the third day, and personally appeared to His disciples. In the bodily ascension of Jesus to heaven, and His exaltation as the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords. In Christ’s personal, literal return (second coming) for the church.

    Luke 1:26-35;

    John 1:18';

    1 Corinthians 15: 1-8, 17;

    John 14:1-3;

    Philippians 2:9-11;

    1 Thessalonians 4:13-18;

    Matthew 24:30-31, 42, 44

  • That the Holy Bible, composed of the Old and New Testaments (the accepted canon of Holy Scripture) is God’s eternal, inspired, infallible Word in its entirety – and is the supreme standard and final authority for all conduct, faith and doctrine.

    2 Timothy 3:16-17

    1 Corinthians 2:13

    2 Peter 1:19-21

  • In the creation, test and fall of man as recorded in Genesis, and man’s total spiritual depravity and inability to attain divine righteousness alone.

    God created human beings in His own image, innocent, morally free, and responsible to choose between good and evil, right and wrong.

    God’s law for all human life, personal and social, is expressed in two divine commands: Love the Lord God with all your heart and love your neighbor as yourself. These commands reveal what is best for persons in their relationship with God, others and society.

    Genesis 1:1 - 2:4

    Romans 3:23; 5:12, 18; 6:23; 7:18, 8:1-9; 21 – 25

  • In the salvation of sinners by grace, through repentance and faith in the perfect and sufficient work of the cross of Calvary, by which we obtain remission of sins.

    We believe that new life in Christ, free from the guilt and penalty of sin, is given to all who believe.

    Christ offered once and for all the perfect sacrifice for the sins of the whole world. No other satisfaction for sin is necessary.

    A new life and a right relationship with God are made possible through the redemptive acts of God in Jesus Christ. God, by His Spirit, acts to impart new life and put people into a relationship with Himself as they repent, and their faith responds to His grace.

    Ephesians 2:8-9;

    Hebrews 9:12-15;

    Romans 5:11
